The role
A construction contractor is expanding its procurement function in KSA.
This build role will establish one central procurement function across KSA projects, covering Civil and MEP, and report to the COO.
The manager will lead procurement and stores teams and own cost, control and compliance from request to delivery.
What you'll do
- Set procurement policies, SOPs and approval matrices and centralize purchasing under one controlled process across projects.
- Lead the move to ERP-based procurement and centralize stores and inventory control across sites.
- Build and manage a pre-qualified local and international vendor base.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms and supply contracts.
- Support the tendering team with supplier pricing before award.
What you'll bring
- 15–20 years of contractor-side construction procurement experience, including at least five years in a managerial role.
- Civil and MEP procurement experience and ERP experience, ideally SAP or Oracle.
- Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Business; CIPS or CPSM is highly preferred.
