Role overview

Procurement and sourcing

• Develop procurement plans from project requirements, BOQs, drawings, specifications, and material schedules.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, manufacturers, subcontractors, and service providers based on quality, cost, capacity, and delivery timelines.
• Compare quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms, lead times, and commercial conditions.
• Prepare purchase orders, subcontract agreements, and procurement documents in line with company procedures.

Project coordination and delivery

• Coordinate with project managers, quantity surveyors, design, estimation, site, finance, and warehouse teams.
• Monitor lead times and ensure timely site delivery of fit-out materials, including finishes, flooring, ceilings, joinery materials, hardware, lighting, sanitaryware, furniture, and MEP-related materials.
• Resolve material substitutions, shortages, quality concerns, and procurement issues with technical and project teams.

Supplier and commercial management

• Build supplier and subcontractor networks in the UAE and internationally where required; evaluate suppliers and maintain an approved supplier database.
• Monitor market prices, material availability, and industry trends to identify savings and alternative sourcing options.
• Track budgets, commitments, purchase orders, deliveries, and outstanding requirements; report procurement status, savings, pending orders, and project risks.
• Ensure procurement meets company policies, approval processes, commercial requirements, and project quality specifications; maintain supplier relationships.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of procurement experience; interior fit-out, construction, joinery, or contracting experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, construction products, finishes, and subcontractor services.
• Experience managing procurement for multiple projects and working with BOQs, drawings, specifications, material schedules, and project budgets.
• Strong knowledge of UAE suppliers and the local construction and fit-out market.
• Experience with ERP/procurement systems and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
