About This Role
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, supplier performance, and timely delivery of goods and services. The role requires strong negotiation skills, strategic sourcing capability, and the ability to manage end-to-end procurement processes in a fast-paced project environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives
- Manage end-to-end sourcing, tendering, and supplier selection processes
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with vendors
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive value optimization
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to forecast procurement needs
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procurement procedures
- Manage risk related to supply chain disruptions and vendor dependencies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 7–10 years of procurement experience (preferably in construction, marine or oil & gas)
Key Competencies:
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Experience in international sourcing and contract administration
- Proficiency in procurement systems
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strategic sourcing and commercial acumen
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and cost control mindset
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
