Job Opportunity: Procurement Manager -

Location: Doha, Qatar

Salary: QAR 15,000 to 20,000

Role overview

You manage all procurement activities for catering and hospitality operations in Qatar. You support daily operations while driving cost efficiency, supplier reliability, and compliance.

Key job responsibilities:

·      Plan and manage procurement strategies for food, beverage, kitchen equipment, and non food items.

·      Ensure uninterrupted supply of food items for catering contracts and hospitality outlets.

·      Develop annual procurement plans aligned with menu cycles and forecasted volumes.

·      Source suppliers locally and internationally to achieve best value and quality.

·      Lead contract negotiations, pricing reviews, and payment terms including long term contracts.

·      Monitor food cost trends and implement cost reduction initiatives.

·      Oversee inventory planning to minimize waste, expiry, and stock shortages.

·      Coordinate with operations teams to support events, projects, and seasonal demand.

·      Ensure compliance with Qatar regulations, food safety, and supplier accreditation.

·      Resolve supply issues, quality complaints, and delivery delays quickly.

·      Manage procurement budgets and approval processes.

·      Maintain accurate records, supplier databases, and procurement reports.

·      Use ERP or procurement systems for forecasting and reporting.

·      Support continuous improvement of procurement processes and policies.

·      Lead and develop procurement staff where applicable.

·      Source alternative brands with competitive price.

Qualifications and Requirements:

·      Proven experience in catering or hospitality procurement.

·      Experience working with high volume food production environments.

·      Strong market knowledge of food suppliers and distributors.

·      Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.

·      Ability to work under pressure and meet tight timelines.

·      Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

·      Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, hospitality, or business preferred.

·      Candidates currently based in Qatar with transferable visa are preferred.
