About the Role:
We are seeking a results-driven Procurement Manager with strong experience in the Qatar market. The ideal candidate will lead all procurement activities with a focus on local sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization.
This role requires a professional with a proven track record in managing purchasing operations, negotiating with local vendors, and ensuring timely availability of materials while maintaining quality and budget standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage procurement activities within the Qatar market
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable local suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms
- Ensure timely procurement to support business operations
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier performance
- Maintain strong relationships with key local vendors
- Implement cost-saving strategies and control measures
- Oversee purchase orders, approvals, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations
- Coordinate with finance, warehouse, and operations teams
- Manage inventory levels effectively
- Prepare procurement reports, forecasts, and analysis
- Lead and manage the purchasing team
Requirements:
- Minimum 5–6 years of procurement experience in Qatar
- Strong knowledge of the local supplier network
- Proven expertise in negotiation and vendor management
- Ability to manage procurement operations independently
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
