Work with project, engineering, finance, and legal teams to support project schedules, budgets, and technical requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead procurement and contracting activities for major and mega construction projects.
- Develop project procurement strategies and plans aligned with schedules and budgets.
- Manage sourcing, RFQs/RFPs, commercial evaluations, negotiations, contract drafting, and awards.
- Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers; manage critical, high-value, and long-lead packages.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, finance, and legal teams and maintain supplier relationships.
- Lead and monitor the procurement team during project execution.
- Use Power BI dashboards and reporting tools to track procurement progress, risks, and performance.
- Drive cost optimization, value engineering, and savings while maintaining quality and technical requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and delegation of authority.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
- At least 10 years of procurement and contracts experience in the construction industry.
- Strong project procurement experience for major or mega projects, including high-value packages and subcontracting.
- Knowledge of sourcing, pricing, bid evaluation, commercial analysis, and contract management.
- Commercial negotiation, supplier management, and procurement team leadership experience.
- Experience with Power BI, procurement dashboards, and tracking/reporting tools.
Preferred qualifications
- Procurement, contracting, or negotiation certifications or formal training are preferred.
- Landscaping or public realm project experience is advantageous.
