Procurement Executive

Role and purpose

Procurement operations

• Process purchase requests and issue accurate purchase orders.
• Procure raw materials, consumables, packaging, and finished goods; align purchases with inventory, consumption forecasts, and stock levels.
• Follow up and close open orders and pending issues.

Supplier management

• Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers, especially from food and F&B sectors.
• Maintain supplier records and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines.

Documentation and coordination

• Maintain accurate procurement data and documents in ERP; track goods received notes, invoices, and delivery notes for audit and reporting.
• Keep detailed records for traceability and control; coordinate with suppliers, warehouse, logistics, and finance.
• Follow up on deliveries and escalate delays, shortages, or supplier issues to management.

Reporting and general support

• Share weekly procurement status updates and monitor lead time, delivery accuracy, and savings.
• Participate in process improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
• Assist with urgent purchases and additional procurement or operational tasks as needed.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of procurement experience; food, supermarket, or F&B experience in the UAE is preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and ERP skills; excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
• A valid UAE driving license is preferred, and own car is requested.
• A diploma or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Expected to be proactive, organized, solution-driven, and able to work under pressure.

Compensation

• Salary is AED 6,000 per month plus a 9% performance-based bonus.

Workplace and employment

• Full-time, in-person work in Dubai Industrial City.
