Procurement Cum Driver

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Purchase construction materials, tools, and equipment from approved suppliers.
• Source quotations and negotiate competitive prices.
• Coordinate with project engineers and the operations team to ensure timely procurement.
• Deliver and collect materials, documents, and equipment to and from project sites and suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management.
• Ensure all purchased items meet project specifications and quality requirements.
• Maintain procurement records, delivery notes, and purchase receipts.
• Plan efficient delivery routes and ensure timely transportation.
• Keep the company vehicle clean and ensure routine maintenance is carried out.
• Comply with all UAE traffic rules and company safety policies.
• Perform other procurement and logistics duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement and driving, preferably in the construction or technical services industry.
• Knowledge of maintenance, renovation, fit-out, and joinery materials is an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Familiarity with suppliers and hardware markets in the UAE.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office and email).
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Good organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in technical services or construction companies.
• Knowledge of local supplier networks.
• Ability to communicate in English (additional languages are an advantage).
