Role overview
Supports and drives procurement, general services, supply chain, and administrative operations.
Requires a business administration, supply chain management, or engineering background and knowledge of power, energy, and water sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Create and execute the annual procurement plan using sourcing, tendering, and direct-purchase methods.
- Issue and monitor purchase orders for compliance with specifications, quality, quantity, and pricing.
- Coordinate vendor selection, engagement, and contract compliance.
- Improve procurement tools and processes based on stakeholder and supplier feedback.
- Oversee facilities maintenance, safety, logistics, office supplies, cleaning, and security services.
- Follow policies and procedures; contribute to continuous improvement and cost reduction.
- Prepare timely financial and operational reports.
Qualifications and skills
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering is mandatory.
- At least 8 years of similar experience in large power or energy sector companies, including at least 3 years with increasing managerial responsibilities.
- Power, energy, or water sector experience is mandatory.
- Problem-solving, analytical thinking, and hands-on operational experience in the GCC working environment.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, senior executives, and external partners.
- Professional English proficiency is mandatory; Arabic is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
