- This **Junior Buyer** role is looking for someone who can **handle day-to-day purchasing activities**, ensure materials and services are bought at the right price and delivered on time, and coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to keep operations running smoothly.
- What the person will do:
- Receive purchase requests from different departments.
- Get quotations from suppliers.
- Compare prices, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Create and process purchase orders.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Resolve issues related to delays, shortages, or quality problems.
- Maintain supplier records and procurement documentation.
- Track supplier performance and support cost-saving initiatives.
- Assist with inventory planning and procurement reporting.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- **4–7 years of procurement/purchasing experience.**
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, commercial, business, or related field.
- Experience with **SAP, Ariba, or other procurement systems** is preferred.
- Good knowledge of **Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint**.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience dealing with suppliers and managing purchase orders.
Qatar-Specific Requirements
- Currently available in **Qatar**.
- Must have a **transferable visa or NOC (No Objection Certificate)**.
- Available to join within **30 days or less**.
One-Line Summary
A Junior Buyer is responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods/services, obtaining quotations, processing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining cost, quality, and compliance standards.
Pay: QAR7,000.00 - QAR8,000.00 per hour
