Role Overview

Reporting Line

• Reports to: Head of ERM and AML
• Department: Governance & Control – Enterprise Risk Management

Strategic & Risk Management Support

• Support development and implementation of ERM strategies, frameworks, objectives, and annual risk assessments.
• Assist in aligning risk management practices with organizational business strategy.
• Monitor emerging and existing risks across departments.

Policies, Procedures & Compliance

• Develop, update, and monitor ERM policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Ensure departmental compliance with approved operational procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Support preparation and maintenance of major risk-related policies and reports, including ORSA.

Risk Registers & Reporting

• Prepare, maintain, and monitor departmental and corporate risk registers.
• Coordinate with departments to identify, assess, and track risks and mitigation actions.
• Maintain risk dashboards, incident logs, trends, and monitoring reports.
• Prepare presentations and meeting materials for Corporate Risk Committee (CRC) and Risk Management Working Group (RMWG).
• Record and maintain meeting minutes.

Risk Analysis & Mitigation

• Conduct follow-ups on identified risks and mitigation plans.
• Assist in root cause analysis and identification of interdependencies.
• Support development of practical risk mitigation and response strategies.
• Coordinate with auditors, regulators, and external stakeholders.
• Attend regulatory meetings and deputize for the Head of ERM and AML when required.

ORSA (Own Risk and Self-Assessment)

• Support external actuaries in collecting operational and financial data for stress testing and self-risk assessments.
• Review calculations and reports for accuracy before final distribution.
• Coordinate opening/closing meetings, interviews, and action tracking related to ORSA activities.
• Monitor risks exceeding appetite and emerging risks.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Timely completion of risk registers and risk analysis activities.
• Effective implementation of mitigation plans aligned with the ERM framework.
• Compliance with operational procedures and regulatory obligations.
• Accurate and timely preparation of risk reports and presentations.
• Proactive monitoring of emerging risks and regulatory developments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Audit, Accounting, Compliance, or related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in Risk Management and Insurance.
• Risk Management certification preferred but not mandatory.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Internal Coordination

• Regular interaction with department managers and Risk Champions.
• Collect and assess risk-related issues, evidence, and information from stakeholders for timely action.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure adherence to QCB and other regulatory requirements.
• Operate within the financial authority and governance framework established by client
• Pay: ﷼24,000.00 - ﷼27,000.00 per month
