Role Description

The Procurement Controller at KILONEWTONS will oversee and manage procurement activities to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services.

This full-time, on-site role located in Riyadh involves evaluating suppliers, coordinating with internal stakeholders, preparing and reviewing contracts, and monitoring compliance with company policies and industry standards.

The Procurement Controller will analyze purchasing data, track budgets, and identify opportunities for savings and process improvement.

The role includes maintaining accurate records, supporting audits, and collaborating closely with project and finance teams to meet operational and strategic objectives.

The Procurement Controller is expected to uphold KILONEWTONS’ values, promote ethical practices, and contribute to a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in Procurement and Supplier Evaluation, with experience managing sourcing processes and vendor relationships.
  • Strong skills in Contract Negotiation and Contract Management, including drafting, reviewing, and administering commercial agreements.
  • Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret data, assess risks, and support decision-making for cost optimization and performance improvement.
  • Knowledge of engineering and construction industry procurement practices, preferably within large-scale or international projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are an advantage.
  • Proficiency in procurement systems and MS Office tools, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and diverse cultures.
  • Commitment to ethical standards, sustainability, and adherence to equal opportunity principles and company policies.
