Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Engineer role based in Riyadh.
The Quality Assurance Engineer will design, review, and execute test cases to validate software quality across various engineering and construction-related applications.
The role involves planning and performing manual testing, documenting defects, and collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
The engineer will participate in test planning meetings, contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation, and support continuous improvement of QA processes and standards.
Day-to-day responsibilities include tracking test results, reporting on quality metrics, and ensuring that releases meet defined quality and compliance criteria before deployment.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, with experience applying QA processes and best practices in software development lifecycles.
- Hands-on experience in Test Execution and designing, maintaining, and reviewing Test Cases for complex systems.
- Proficiency in Manual Testing techniques, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Ability to document and communicate defects clearly, work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, and verify fixes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar) is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a structured approach to testing and documentation.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to work collaboratively in diverse, multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in engineering, construction, or energy domain projects is an advantage.
