Responsibilities
- Undertake QRA studies, including consequence and frequency modelling using tools such as PHAST, SAFETI, and Flaresim.
- Perform consequence modelling, fire risk assessments, flare radiation and vent dispersion work, and fire protection and detection system design.
- Execute projects involving flare radiation, vent dispersion, and active or passive fire protection systems.
- Interpret PFDs, P&IDs, and HSE documents for HSE workshops.
- Scribe HAZID, ENVID, OHID, SIMOPS, PHSER, SIL, and ALARP workshops.
- Manage projects with junior HSE consultants.
- Undertake or review HSEIA studies, including Bow Tie, EERA, ESSA, COMAH, safety cases, and ALARP demonstrations.
- Apply project procedures, engineering specifications, and standards including ADNOC AGES, NFPA, API, and OGP.
- Prepare proposals under direction of the DM and interface with clients on process safety design issues.
- Interface with project management and client teams.
Qualifications and experience
- Engineering degree or equivalent relevant experience; Chemical, Petrochemical, or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- Familiarity with ADNOC or QatarEnergy standards, international HSE codes, and NFPA standards.
- Previous HSE consultancy experience in the Middle East, especially UAE, Qatar, or Muscat.
- At least 5 years of oil and gas sector experience.
- Ability to work across organizations with effective communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Tools and working skills

- Familiarity with PHA-Pro, BowTieXP, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and other applications used in HSE workshops is requested.
