Role overview

Responsibilities

• Source suppliers, request and evaluate quotations, negotiate prices and terms, and issue purchase orders under company policies and project requirements.
• Monitor delivery schedules and coordinate with project managers, engineering, and finance.
• Ensure materials and services are delivered on time and within budget.
• Maintain procurement records and support vendor qualification and performance evaluations.
• Contribute to cost optimization and compliance with safety, quality, and sustainability standards.

Qualifications

• Strong purchasing, sourcing, and vendor management skills with industrial or construction-related procurement experience.
• Ability to assess quotations, negotiate commercial and contractual terms, and achieve cost-effective outcomes.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, procurement tools, and office software such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of supply chain processes, logistics coordination, and inventory considerations.
• Strong communication, collaboration, attention to detail, and organizational skills; able to manage multiple procurement activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluent English required; Arabic is beneficial.
• Process-industry experience in the Middle East is advantageous; CIPS or CPSM certification is a plus.
• Able to work on-site in Abu Dhabi Emirate.
