Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop and update schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project; prepare WBS, baselines, and execution schedules.
• Track progress, deliverables, document status, milestones, productivity, resource utilization, and engineering man-hours.
• Perform schedule, critical path, and delay analyses; identify schedule risks and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare look-ahead schedules, progress reports, dashboards, S-curves, progress measurement systems, and KPI reports.
• Support manpower forecasting, project meetings, change management, and schedule impact assessments.
• Coordinate with discipline leads, document control, cost engineers, and project controls personnel.
• Prepare preliminary schedules and manpower histograms for proposals and tenders.
• Ensure compliance with contractual milestones, client reporting requirements, and company QMS procedures.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–12 years of project planning experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, or Industrial sectors.
• At least 3–5 years in an engineering consultancy environment.
• Experience with Concept, FEED, Detailed Design, EPC, EPCM, or PMC projects.
• GCC/Middle East project experience is highly preferred.

Preferred certifications

• Primavera P6 certification is preferred.
• PMP certification is an added advantage.
• Additional Project Planning or Project Controls certifications are desirable.
