Role overview

Program leadership and delivery

• Own strategy and portfolio execution for large, multi-year transformation programs, aligned to organizational objectives, investment priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Establish governance and operating cadence, including OKRs/KPIs, executive steering, financial tracking, dependency management and delivery transparency.
• Develop integrated plans across teams and vendors covering technical requirements, sequencing, resourcing, milestones and rollout or cutover.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, product and business leaders to define scope, value cases and success metrics.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, digitalize workflows and increase operational efficiency; lead change and adoption at scale.
• Manage program risks, controls, dependencies and delivery health, driving mitigation and appropriate escalation.
• Provide executive reporting and insights on progress, risks, trade-offs and recommendations.
• Drive stakeholder engagement through workshops, communications, training approaches and decision forums.
• Build and lead teams, coach program leaders and delivery partners, and foster accountability, improvement and innovation.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies and translate useful practices into transformation approaches.

AI governance and adoption

• Define and enforce guardrails for AI-assisted and agentic workflows, including control boundaries, traceability, auditability and review and approval expectations.
• Establish pilots and feedback loops to evaluate agentic tools and measure impact, scaling effective approaches with engineering, architecture, product and control stakeholders.
• Set a reuse-first approach to enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for planning, risk synthesis and executive reporting, with human validation and appropriate handling of sensitive data.
• Translate emerging agentic tools and patterns into governed use cases such as delivery automation, portfolio insights, risk identification and stakeholder communications.

Required qualifications and capabilities

• Formal training or certification in technical program management concepts and advanced applied experience in technology program or portfolio leadership in a large, complex organization.
• Track record of delivering enterprise-scale outcomes.
• Demonstrated leadership of large-scale transformation across multiple teams, systems and stakeholders, including end-to-end delivery, adoption and benefits realization.
• Strong strategic and analytical capability to assess performance and implement data-driven delivery and operating metrics.
• Deep expertise in risk identification, mitigation, dependency management and contingency planning.
• Proven ability to drive technology adoption and operating model change sustainably.
• Strong people leadership and talent development capabilities, including coaching.
