Principal Strategic Advisor serving as the executive-level liaison for a premier athleisure retail client.

Engage senior business leaders, including VPs, CXOs, and directors of merchandising and planning.
Responsibilities
- Advise senior retail leaders and facilitate steering committees translating merchandising and financial strategies into technology initiatives.
- Align business priorities with delivery capabilities; guide trade-offs, MVP scopes, and release sequencing.
- Assess high-level risks and operational impacts of production releases on peak seasons and buy-session deadlines; ensure executive business readiness.
- Govern platform changes affecting merchandise hierarchies, visual planning systems, and core data flows.
- Bridge senior client executives and technical delivery leadership; oversee enterprise transformation and strategic portfolio priorities.
Experience requirements
- Minimum 20 years of professional experience in enterprise consulting or technology delivery with corporate retail leadership.
- At least 8–10 years of dedicated retail or apparel experience.
- Deep knowledge in at least two of merchandise financial planning, visual assortment planning, product and merchandise hierarchies, or associated data flows.
- Premium, vertically integrated, or athleisure brand exposure is desirable.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field; equivalent education and relevant sales experience will also be considered.
Compensation
- Annual base salary range is CAD 115,900–129,406; actual compensation depends on skills, experience, location, and business needs.

Work arrangement
- Hybrid role located in Vancouver, British Columbia.
