Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the testing team and oversee timely, accurate delivery of test cases and execution.
• Design, write, and maintain comprehensive cases from software requirements and design documents.
• Run manual and automated tests against functional, performance, and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with software development and product teams to understand and evaluate systems.
• Ensure compliance with RTCA DO-178C and other relevant industry standards.
• Manage test planning, execution, defect reporting, and completion.
• Oversee embedded-systems testing and compatibility with avionics and aviation-related systems.
• Mentor testers and promote automation and continuous-integration best practices.
• Implement quality assurance strategies and improve testing methodologies.
• Coordinate system integration and validation with cross-functional teams.
• Foster a collaborative, transparent, and goal-oriented work environment.

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, such as Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of software testing experience focused on embedded systems.
• Proficiency writing and executing manual and automated test cases.
• Experience with embedded systems and familiarity with the QT framework.
• Strong understanding of software engineering processes: requirements, design, development, and verification.
• In-depth knowledge of RTCA DO-178C in safety-critical software testing.
• Proven aviation software testing experience or embedded-systems experience in aerospace applications.
• UAV systems experience is preferred.

Preferred qualifications

• Technical and line management experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools is preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test-driven development is preferred.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, communication skills, and organizational skills are preferred.
