Eaton's Aerospace business in Titchfield supplies integrated fuel systems for fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft.
The business is relocating to a new facility in Daedalus that will serve as a European aerospace manufacturing centre of excellence.
Role overview
The Pricing Analyst supports Aerospace Group sales and growth objectives through cost estimates and pricing strategies.
The role supports opportunities across the Titchfield, South Molton and Bedhampton sites and may be based at Titchfield or Bedhampton.
Responsibilities
- Provide estimate data for business development and compile estimates for equipment supply, engineering, repair, overhaul and spares programmes.
- Analyse customer offers and prepare data for pricing negotiations, audits and make-or-buy decisions.
- Support cost reduction activities, monthly divisional reporting and annual customer price-list updates.
- Communicate pricing and estimating outputs clearly to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications and skills
- Three to five years of estimating experience is required, ideally in manufacturing or aerospace.
- A degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- Microsoft Excel proficiency, analytical ability, business acumen and communication skills are required.
- Understanding of aerospace products, engineering development and manufacturing processes is preferred.
Workplace
- The role is hybrid, with at least three days per week on site and five days per week on site during the first two months.
