Overview
The Presales Engineer will work closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise and support during the sales process.
This role involves understanding customer requirements, demonstrating the technical capabilities of our solutions, and ensuring that our offerings meet the client's needs.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer technical requirements and provide technical solutions.
Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations of our cybersecurity products and services.
Design and propose tailored security solutions that address the specific needs of potential clients.
Develop and maintain deep knowledge of our product offerings, features, and benefits.
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing insights and recommendations on best practices in cybersecurity.
Respond to technical questions and inquiries from potential clients.
Manage and execute PoCs to showcase the effectiveness of our solutions.
Work with clients to resolve any technical issues during the evaluation process.
Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to provide feedback and insights from customer interactions.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive.

":" Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Computer or Information Technology or related subjects
4+ years of relevant pre-sales experience
2+ years of relevant cybersecurity industry
Preferred: professional security related qualification such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, GIAC or equivalent
Significant professional experience in a presales/sales engineering role within managed services or professional services
Good knowledge of the cyber security industry.
Must have working technical knowledge of security technologies (across multiple domains such as SIEM, EDR, Cloud Security, Firewall, Network IPS, DLP etc.), information security concepts and familiar with security products (Microsoft, Palo Alto, Splunk, Carbon Black, Fortinet etc.) and the security marketplace.
Broad experience and understanding of industry standards, framework, and best practices such as ISO27001, PCI DSS, NIST, etc.
Experience
working in a customer-facing role and comfortable presenting to a small, medium, and large audiences on both technical and business-related topics
Strong communications skills for product demonstrations and presentations to technical and non-technical audiences
Excellent written skills for RFP responses, proposals, pricing, and gathering technical requirements
Demonstrated technical knowledge and consultative skills
Ability to articulate complex technical information to clients
The ability to research and keep on top of industry developments
Experience
working with Sales/CRM ERP solutions.
Ability to cope under pressure and prioritize work accordingly
Self-motivated, strong analytical skills and detail oriented.
Goal oriented, with a proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
