Our client is a leading UAE-based value-added distributor of electrical and infrastructure solutions, established in 2003.
The company operates as a regional supply chain and solutions partner for critical infrastructure sectors.
We are seeking a
Presales / Solutions Engineer with strong electrical/data center background (8+ years)
to support solution design and technical sales for UAE data center infrastructure projects.
Core Profile Requirement
- 8+ years of experience in
- data centers, telecom, EPC, or MEP environments
- Strong understanding of
- data center electrical infrastructure
- Knowledge of
- power, cooling interfaces, and critical infrastructure design principles
- Familiar with
- telecom / ISO / IEC / data center compliance standards
- Ability to work across
- client, OEM, and vendor ecosystems
Role Positioning (Critical Success Factor)
- This role acts as the
- technical backbone of the BU
- , responsible for:
- Translating client requirements into
- compliant technical solutions
- Bridging
- sales, engineering, and OEM/vendor inputs
- Ensuring
- design credibility and technical validation
- at pre-sales stage
- Supporting fast conversion from
- concept → design → pilot
Key Expectations
- Act as the
- primary technical interface
- for customers during pre-sales cycle
- Conduct
- site assessments and requirement gathering workshops
- Develop
- BOMs, solution designs, and technical proposals
- Support
- RFP responses and tender submissions
- Coordinate with OEMs for
- product selection and technical validation
- Enable
- partners and internal sales teams with technical guidance
- Support
- POC / pilot designs and execution feasibility
