Job Summary
A leading global aerospace and defence technology company is seeking a skilled Power Platform Developer / Automation Specialist.
This role focuses on designing and delivering digital solutions that improve business processes through automation and data insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Power Apps Canvas applications to support business operations
- Build and maintain workflows using Power Automate (approvals, notifications, integrations)
- Create Power BI dashboards and reports for business insights
- Use SharePoint Online for data storage, lists, and document management
- Design scalable solutions using Dataverse (tables, relationships, data models)
- Integrate solutions with Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint
- Use APIs, connectors, and JSON for system integration
- Replace manual processes with automated solutions
- Work with business users to gather requirements and deliver practical tools
Mandatory Requirements
- Strong experience with Power Apps (Canvas Apps essential; Model-Driven Apps beneficial)
- Proven experience with Power Automate workflows
- Solid SharePoint Online knowledge (lists, libraries, permissions)
- Experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports
- Good understanding of Dataverse and when to use it vs SharePoint
- Ability to connect systems using APIs, connectors, and databases (e.g. SQL)
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting business areas such as operations, supply chain, HR, or finance
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Experience working in fast-paced environments
