An established engineering services company in Dubai is looking for a
Qhse Officer And Supervisor
to support workshop and field operations.
This role is suitable for candidates with QHSE experience in engineering, oil and gas, aviation, nuclear, or other safety-critical industries.
Experience with rotating equipment, including turbines, pumps, and compressors, would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain QHSE systems in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
- Carry out site inspections, internal audits, and risk assessments
- Investigate incidents and support corrective actions
- Deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks, and QHSE training
- Promote safe working practices across workshop and field teams
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and client QHSE requirements
- Support quality processes, including document reviews and ITPs
- Monitor environmental performance and reporting
- Track QHSE KPIs and prepare reports for management
- Support continuous improvement across quality, health, safety, and environmental processes
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, HSE, Environmental Science, or a related subject
- Minimum 3 years’ QHSE experience
- Experience in engineering, oil and gas, aviation, nuclear, or similar regulated industries
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
- Strong experience in audits, inspections, and incident investigations
- Good communication skills and the ability to influence safe behaviours
- Strong reporting and documentation skills
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent is desirable
- Experience with rotating equipment is advantageous
- AS9100 knowledge is advantageous
