Role overview
Oversees temporary power requirements across LINKVIVA events, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient power distribution.
Hands-on technical leadership role working with production and technical teams to support uninterrupted event delivery.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage temporary power distribution systems across events.
- Coordinate generators, cabling and load balancing.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and electrical regulations.
- Coordinate with technical and production teams; monitor power use, efficiency and reliability.
- Troubleshoot power issues in real time and oversee on-site setup, testing and breakdown.
- Maintain accurate documentation and power plans.
Required qualifications and experience
- Electrical or technical background, with a qualification or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience managing power systems for large-scale events or sites.
- Strong experience in event power systems and temporary power distribution.
- Strong understanding of temporary power, generators and load distribution.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in live environments.
- Fluent spoken and written English; based in the UAE or open to relocation.
Additional advantages
- Experience with large-scale events, festivals or complex builds; a strong network of power suppliers and technical vendors; and experience in high-pressure live environments are advantages.
- Arabic language skills are an advantage.
Work arrangement
- The work involves managing power infrastructure on-site at live events.
Engagement terms
- Freelance role lasting three months or less.
- No benefits are provided, including residence visa and medical insurance.
