Maintains pool and beach recreation areas and supports a safe, pleasant guest experience.
Pool and guest area duties
- Wash, mop, and clean the pool deck.
- Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere in recreation areas through an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude.
- Observe activity and respond appropriately to emergencies according to local procedures.
- Promote facility rules and alert a supervisor when guests may not be able to participate safely.
- Assist injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
- Obtain, fold, and stack towels according to company procedures.
Safety and service practices
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions and complete safety training and certifications.
- Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and communicate professionally.
- Follow company policies and quality standards; maintain a clean, professional appearance and protect confidential information and company assets.
- Inspect tools and equipment and use computers or point-of-sale systems as needed.
- The role involves lifting and carrying objects up to 25 pounds, moving on slippery or uneven surfaces, and reaching, bending, twisting, and stooping.
Required qualifications
- CPR certification.
- First Aid certification.
- Fitness equipment qualification.
- Certifications or training required by local and state agencies.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- No related work experience or supervisory experience is specified.
