Coordinate staff to deliver optimum service and meet guest needs in pool bar and dining operations.
Daily operations
- Inspect staff grooming and attire and correct deficiencies.
- Complete opening and closing duties, prepare supplies and tools, clean equipment and areas, and secure doors.
- Inspect storage areas for organization, FIFO stock rotation, and cleanliness.
- Complete scheduled inventories and requisition necessary supplies.
- Monitor dining areas for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being.
- Complete maintenance work orders.
Team and guest service
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the fair-treatment and open-door policy process.
- Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist guests with disabilities, and express appreciation.
- Follow company and safety policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training.
- Maintain quality standards and identify or implement improvements to efficiency, productivity, safety, or cost savings.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- At least two years of related work experience is preferred.
- At least one year of supervisory experience is preferred.
- No license or certification is specified.
Schedule and workplace
- The schedule is full time.
