Overview

The Pool Bar Manager is responsible for the overall management and performance of the Pool Bar, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and financial success.

The role oversees daily operations, leads and develops the bar team, maintains Rosewood luxury service standards, and creates memorable beverage and dining experiences for guests while maximizing revenue and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Pool Bar, ensuring smooth, efficient, and professional service at all times.
  • Lead, motivate, coach, and develop the Pool Bar team to consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ensure all guest interactions reflect Rosewood s culture of genuine hospitality, luxury service, and personalized attention.
  • Maintain the highest standards of beverage preparation, presentation, and service delivery.
  • Conduct daily briefings and ensure associates are fully informed of beverage menus, promotions, VIP arrivals, and operational updates.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address guest feedback, concerns, and service recovery situations.
  • Collaborate closely with Culinary and Food & Beverage teams to ensure seamless service and guest experiences.
  • Develop and implement beverage promotions, seasonal offerings, and innovative guest experiences in line with Rosewood standards.
  • Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to maximize revenue and enhance profitability.
  • Manage labor scheduling and manpower deployment in line with business levels and operational requirements.
  • Control operating expenses, beverage costs, and inventory levels to achieve budgeted financial objectives.
  • Oversee stock ordering, receiving, storage, and inventory management while minimizing wastage and variances.
  • Ensure compliance with all Rosewood brand standards, operating procedures, and service protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards throughout the Pool Bar and surrounding service areas.
  • Ensure all food safety, HACCP, hygiene, sanitation, and health and safety standards are adhered to at all times.
  • Conduct regular training sessions focused on product knowledge, service excellence, upselling techniques, and operational standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing coaching and development opportunities to support succession planning.
  • Support special events, themed activations, and resort-wide promotions as required.
  • Foster a positive working environment that promotes teamwork, engagement, and accountability.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Food & Beverage Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 4 6 years of Food & Beverage experience, including at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role within a luxury hotel, resort, beach club, or premium bar
