The PMO Analyst supports structured, consistent, and data-driven execution of projects and programs.
The role tracks progress, identifies risks, and provides insights for decision-making while supporting process and tool improvements.
Reporting and governance
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports covering project status, risks, and KPIs; analyze performance data and highlight trends or issues.
- Provide insights to senior stakeholders to support decisions.
- Ensure projects follow PMO standards, methodologies, and templates and monitor alignment with PMBOK or Agile practices.
- Support audits and compliance activities, conduct project phase gates, and perform quality assurance reviews of project documentation.
Portfolio and process support
- Assist with business cases, prioritization, and portfolio tracking; track resource allocation and capacity.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements; help standardize project management methodologies and templates.
- Support PMO maturity initiatives.
Tools and knowledge
- Required tool experience includes MS Project, Jira, Power BI, project document management tools, SharePoint, and MS Teams.
- Knowledge of project operational planning and financial analysis is preferred.
Experience
- At least four years of relevant work experience is required.
- Eight or more years of relevant work experience is preferred.
