About the position
Performs commercial plumbing maintenance and minor project work across CBRE Excellerate managed facilities.
Maintains water supply, drainage, sanitary fixtures, pumps, and related plumbing systems.
Responsibilities and authority
- Carry out assigned plumbing maintenance and minor installation works.
- Isolate water services and stop work when unsafe conditions or significant leaks are identified.
- Diagnose faults and recommend corrective actions and materials.
- Verify leak-free operation and workmanship before handover.
- Escalate major system failures, drainage issues, and operational risks to the Technical Supervisor.
- Complete work orders promptly while meeting quality and HSE standards.
Experience and education
- ITI/trade certificate in plumbing, pipefitting, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of UAE experience in commercial plumbing projects and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with water supply, drainage, sanitary systems, and plumbing fixtures.
- Facilities management experience is preferred.
Skills and knowledge
- Commercial plumbing installation and maintenance, leak detection, fault troubleshooting, and drainage blockage rectification.
- Pipe cutting, threading, joining, and fitting; basic work-order/CAFM reporting.
- Knowledge of domestic water supply, drainage and sanitary systems, pumps, valves, and plumbing fixtures.
- Knowledge of preventive and reactive maintenance, commercial installation practices, PTW, and HSE requirements.
