Planning Engineer

- Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and resource plans using appropriate software.
- Collaborate with project teams to gather project data, monitor progress, and identify potential risks or delays.
- Analyze project plans, milestones, and critical paths to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Prepare regular progress reports, highlighting variances, constraints, and recommended corrective actions to stakeholders.
- Assist in resource management by optimizing manpower, materials, and equipment allocation based on project requirements.
- Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Precise and On Time submission of any type of documents/reports/data.
- Complete tasks efficiently and stay within budget as part of your job responsibilities
- Provide input to other departments or parties as needed on time.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, progress reports, and resource plans.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather project data and updates.
- Monitor project progress and identify deviations from planned schedules.
- Analyze critical paths, risks, and constraints, providing recommendations for resolution.
- Conduct regular project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Assist in the development of project cost estimates and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Liaise with clients regarding project timelines, updates, and any required modifications.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including records of changes, issues, and relevant communications.
- Identify areas for process improvement and propose innovative solutions for enhanced project efficiency.
- Foster effective collaboration among project teams and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
General Responsibilities
- Adhere to company policies, code of conduct, conflict of interest, standards, rules and regulations at all times.
- Always prioritize keeping employee information and sensitive data confidential
- Prioritize and ensure full compliance with the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) policies established by the company.
- Accurate and On Time submissions of balanced scorecards.
- Maintain supportive documentation to substantiate the actual performance for all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) outlined in the Balanced Scorecard (BSC).
Skills
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 Software
- Advanced understanding of construction/facilities management principles.
- Familiarity with industry-specific software for project tracking and reporting.
- Strategic planning and execution abilities.
- Proficient in budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation.
- Strong analytical skills for project performance evaluation and risk assessment.

Experience & Education Required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project planning or related roles within the construction or engineering industry.
- Minimum 3-5 Years of experience in the same Industry.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the similar position.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant field.
