Role Description
Full-time, on-site Planning Engineer role located in Abu Dhabi.
Create and manage project plans, monitor progress and schedules, implement project controls, analyze data, and communicate updates to align goals with timelines and resources.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor progress and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports with graphs and critical path analysis.
- Identify delays, deviations, and risks, and recommend corrective actions to clients and management.
- Conduct site visits to verify progress and validate schedule compliance.
- Support delay analysis, claims assessment, and evaluation of variations.
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, and contractors for timely communication and effective coordination.
- Maintain accurate schedules, reports, and supporting documentation for project audits and closeout.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Well versed in Primavera P6.
- At least 10 years of construction experience, including at least five years in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- Experience working in an engineering consultancy.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with mega projects is highly preferred.
- Candidate must currently be in the UAE.
- UAE driving licence is mandatory.
