Company description
SDV Consulting Engineers provides engineering, project management, project development, FEED, EPCM, PMC, commissioning, and advisory services.
The company serves industrial sectors including manufacturing and processing, energy, hydrogen plants, cold stores, and specialty facilities.
Role responsibilities
- Conduct and attend site quality inspections, including surveillance, witness points, hold points, and quality audits.
- Review quality plans, ITPs, test reports, prequalification documents, testing and commissioning plans, and handover documents.
- Participate in inspection tests to check compliance with project standards.
- Monitor construction activities for adherence to quality requirements.
- Maintain quality control records and reports with the project team.
- Report inspections, quality issues, and progress updates to the Construction Supervisor.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- At least five years of construction experience, including at least three years in a Civil Site Inspector role in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance processes and construction standards.
- Experience with quality documentation and inspection processes.
- Civil inspection experience with steel structural or industrial-type buildings is highly preferred.
- Experience working in engineering consultancy.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with UAE regulations and project requirements.
- A UAE driving license is required.
