Talentspoc seeks a Specialist Periodontist to join a healthcare facility in the UAE.
The role focuses on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of gum diseases and conditions affecting the supporting structures of teeth.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage periodontal conditions; perform comprehensive examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Perform non-surgical treatments, including scaling and root planing, and periodontal surgery or soft-tissue procedures as appropriate.
- Manage advanced gum disease and complex cases; perform implant-related periodontal procedures where appropriate.
- Monitor outcomes and provide long-term periodontal maintenance.
- Collaborate with general dentists, prosthodontists, orthodontists, and oral surgeons.
- Educate patients about oral hygiene, gum health, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment documentation.
Qualifications and requirements
- BDS, DDS, or equivalent dental degree.
- MDS, MS, or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Periodontics or Periodontology.
- At least three years of post-specialization experience is preferred.
- Strong clinical and surgical periodontal skills.
- Experience in periodontal surgery and implant-related procedures is an advantage.
- Excellent diagnostic, treatment-planning, and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary dental team.
