Experienced Consultant Neurologist role at a healthcare facility in the UAE.
Provides clinical care for disorders affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, neuropathies, and other neurological conditions.
- Conduct neurological assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and evaluate neurological symptoms.
- Interpret EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies as appropriate.
- Manage complex cases, coordinate multidisciplinary care, monitor outcomes, and adjust treatment plans.
- Counsel patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and long-term care.
- Guide junior medical staff and contribute to clinical quality improvement.
Qualifications and requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
- MD/DNB in General Medicine or equivalent, with DM/DNB or equivalent specialization in Neurology.
- Significant post-specialization experience at Consultant level.
- Strong expertise in complex neurological conditions, clinical judgment, communication, and patient management.
