Join a healthcare facility in the UAE as a Specialist Rheumatologist, providing comprehensive care for acute and chronic rheumatological conditions.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, ankylosing spondylitis, and other rheumatological conditions.
- Evaluate patients with joint pain, inflammation, and autoimmune disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and long-term disease monitoring.
- Interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic investigations.
- Monitor treatment response and manage medication-related complications.
- Collaborate with orthopaedic specialists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and treatment adherence.
- Maintain accurate medical records and high standards of patient care.
Qualifications and requirements
- Hold an MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
- Hold an MD/DNB in General Medicine or equivalent, with DM/DNB or equivalent specialization in Rheumatology.
- Have experience managing autoimmune and inflammatory rheumatological conditions.
- A minimum of three years of post-specialization experience is preferred.
- Demonstrate strong diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and communication skills.
