Role overview
Seeking an experienced Specialist Orthodontist to diagnose and correct dental and jaw alignment problems.
Provide personalized orthodontic treatment intended to improve patients' oral health and smiles.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose malocclusion, misaligned teeth, and jaw irregularities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for children, adolescents, and adults.
- Provide treatment with fixed braces, clear aligners, and other appropriate appliances.
- Monitor treatment progress and adjust appliances as required.
- Evaluate dental and facial development and recommend interventions.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and care during treatment.
- Collaborate with general dentists and dental specialists.
- Maintain accurate patient records and high standards of clinical care.
Qualifications and requirements
- BDS or equivalent dental degree.
- MDS or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Orthodontics.
- Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred.
- Experience with fixed orthodontic appliances and clear aligner treatments.
- Strong diagnostic, treatment-planning, and patient communication skills.
