The Analyst will support Payments Regulatory Reporting Operations and help keep payments reporting accurate, timely, and well controlled.
The role works with trading, compliance, operations, technology, finance, and legal partners to deliver regulatory submissions and support audits.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare regulatory reports end to end, including reconciliations and timely submissions to regulators.
- Produce internal management information reports and risk-based supervision data points.
- Monitor nostro reconciliation breaks daily and circulate ageing reports on outstanding items.
- Partner with technology teams to automate reporting processes and strengthen controls.
- Prepare regional KPI reports and assess the effect of new business initiatives on regulatory reporting.
- Support internal, statutory, and concurrent audits by providing data and resolving audit queries.
- Coordinate with operations, trade support, finance, compliance, and legal teams on control management and issue resolution.
- Review and update procedures and standard operating procedures.
- Follow control practices and escalate issues when required.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- At least two years of experience in regulatory reporting, payments operations, treasury operations, or a related financial services role is required.
- Working knowledge of India regulatory reporting and related treasury reporting products is required.
- Knowledge of cash transaction, non-profit organization, cross-border wire transfer, R-Return, and basic statistical return reporting is required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, ownership, judgment, communication, and relationship-building skills are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
- The role requires flexibility to take on new assignments in a changing environment.
