Lead UNIPAL's launch in Qatar and own the market's partnership lineup, targets, and team.
The role works closely with leadership, Marketing, Accounts Management, and Product.
What you will do
- Build and own the Qatar partnerships plan, from launch lineup through monthly and quarterly targets.
- Personally sign anchor brand partners to establish credibility with students at launch.
- Build relationships with Qatar universities, including Education City.
- Hire, coach, and lead the Qatar partnerships team.
- Set standards for deal quality, commercial terms, contracts, and handover to Accounts Management.
- Run weekly pipeline reviews and maintain accurate forecasts.
- Represent UNIPAL with senior brand decision-makers, mall operators, franchise holders, and at industry events.
- Provide market insight to Marketing, Product, and leadership.
What you bring
- At least 6 years in partnerships, business development, or sales in Qatar, including team leadership or market ownership.
- A senior network among Qatar F&B groups, franchise holders, retail businesses, and lifestyle brands.
- Experience launching a product, brand, or market in Qatar.
- Strong negotiation skills with large, multi-branch partners.
- Comfort building plans, forecasts, and reports from CRM data.
- Self-driven and comfortable building with little structure.
- Good understanding of what students want from brands.
Nice to have
- Startup or regional expansion experience is a plus.
- Experience with youth, student, loyalty, or rewards products is a plus.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is a plus.
