Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with proven experience in acquiring clients within the background verification (BGV) industry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding our market presence.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, target, and acquire new clients for background verification services
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
Build and maintain strong relationships with HR leaders, recruiters, and key decision-makers
Understand client requirements and propose customized BGV solutions
Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation to closure
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery
Track market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
Maintain accurate sales pipeline and reports
Key Requirements
Proven experience in business development or sales within the background verification industry
Strong network of HR contacts and corporate clients
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
Strong understanding of BGV processes and compliance requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
Preferred Skills
Experience working with BGV vendors or HR services companies
Strong problem-solving and client management abilities
High level of initiative and a results-oriented mindset
