Role Overview

Teaching Responsibilities

• Deliver learn-to-swim lessons from Parent and Toddler through Stage 6, plus aqua aerobics and private or semi-private lessons.
• Support competitive swim squads, water polo, and synchronized swimming sessions as rostered.
• Maintain water safety, supervision, and child safeguarding standards.
• Track swimmer progress and complete assessments in the online booking system.
• Complete online office hours for planning, reports, communication, registrations, and training.

Schedule

• Part-time teachers work any three days per week within the Tuesday-to-Sunday poolside windows.
• Poolside windows are Tuesday to Thursday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday and Saturday from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Sunday in rostered shifts from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
• Online office hours require two to three hours per day for administration, planning, and training.

Requirements

• A recognized swimming teaching qualification from Pool Academy Training, Swim England, World Aquatics, or ASCA is required.
• Current lifesaving or rescue and CPR or first-aid certification is required.
• At least two years of teaching experience across multiple age groups and abilities is required.
• Fluent English, strong communication, a clear background check, and commitment to child safeguarding are required.
• Applicants must hold a self-sponsored or family-sponsored UAE residence visa and commute reliably within Abu Dhabi.

Compensation and Benefits

• The salary is AED 3,500 to AED 4,000 per month for a fixed three-day weekly schedule, depending on qualifications and experience.

Workplace
