The role

Teaching and administration

• Deliver learn-to-swim lessons from Parent and Toddler through Stage 6, aqua aerobics, and private and semi-private lessons.
• Support competitive swim squads, water polo, and synchronized swimming sessions as rostered.
• Track swimmer progress and complete assessments on the online booking system.
• Communicate professionally with parents and school staff; complete lesson planning, progress reports, parent communications, and registrations.
• Attend online office hours for administration, team meetings, planning, and training.

Hours of work

• Part-time schedule: choose any three days.
• Monday to Thursday poolside hours are 3:30 PM–9:00 PM; Friday hours are 1:30 PM–9:00 PM.
• Saturday and Sunday poolside hours are 8:00 AM–9:00 PM.
• Mandatory online office hours between Tuesday and Thursday are up to three hours per weekday.

Requirements

• Hold a valid recognized swimming-teaching qualification: Pool Academy Training (PAT), Swim England, ASCA, or World Aquatics.
• Hold current valid first-aid certification and have at least two years of swimming-teaching experience across multiple age groups and abilities.
• Hold a valid self-, family-, or employer-sponsored UAE residence visa; have valid police clearance, valid medical insurance, and a clear background check.
• Be fluent in English, communicate well with children and parents, and demonstrate commitment to child safeguarding.
• Be able to commute reliably within Abu Dhabi.

Pay and benefits

• Pay is AED 3,000–3,500 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
