The role

Duties

• Deliver learn-to-swim lessons from Parent and Toddler through Stage 6, aqua aerobics, and private and semi-private lessons using the Pool Academy curriculum.
• Support competitive swim squads, water polo, and synchronized swimming sessions as rostered.
• Maintain water safety, supervision, and child-safeguarding standards.
• Track swimmer progress and complete assessments in the online booking system.
• Communicate professionally with parents and school staff.
• Complete online office duties, including planning, progress reports, parent communication, registrations, meetings, and training.

Requirements

• Recognized, valid swimming-teaching qualification from PAT, Swim England, ASCA, or World Aquatics.
• Current valid first-aid certification and at least two years of swimming-teaching experience across multiple ages and abilities.
• Valid UAE residence visa, police clearance, medical insurance, and clear background check.
• Fluent English, strong communication with children and parents, and reliable ability to commute within Abu Dhabi.
• Available to start immediately.

Hours

• Monday is a day off. Tuesday through Thursday poolside shifts are 3:30 PM–9:00 PM; Friday is 1:30 PM–9:00 PM.
• Saturday and Sunday shifts are rostered as either 8:00 AM–3:00 PM or 3:00 PM–9:00 PM.
• Tuesday through Friday also includes up to four hours per weekday of mandatory online office hours for administration, team meetings, planning, and training.

Pay and offer

• Pay is AED 7,000–7,750 per month, depending on qualification and experience.
