The coordinator enters customer orders and follows up with internal teams to support accurate, timely delivery.
The role also supports sales with payment follow-up and claims handling.
Responsibilities
- Enter orders accurately in SAP, including technical Bills of Quantities, payment conditions, and requested delivery dates.
- Coordinate with planning, production, service, solution engineering, and shipping departments.
- Track orders, update stakeholders, and follow up to secure timely delivery.
- Support sales with customer payment follow-up and outstanding invoices.
- Communicate with customers about order status, delivery times, and issues.
- Prepare recurring MEA-level reports, with weekly interactions with regional directors.
- Support handling of customer claims.
Qualifications
- Experience in order entry and customer service.
- Proficiency in SAP and other order management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, organisation, and time management.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Performance measures
Performance is assessed on order-entry accuracy, timely follow-up and delivery, payment follow-up and claims handling, and customer satisfaction and feedback.
