Bid Manager

• Prepare, coordinate, submit bids with diversity from simple to complex. • Calculate and coordinate quotations for solutions and services and upload in SAP Projects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls. • Contact customers/agents for technical clarifications, active role for technical support to (end) customers before and during the bidding phase. • Defend offer internally and occasionally locally in support of the Area Sales Manager. • Able to offer different alternatives, pro-actively in case of price issues or in case of deviations from specification. • Support of Area Sales Managers at request, e.g. during customer visits to ADB Safegate. • Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) • Write airfield lighting / VDGS / Tower related standards and methods. • Contact airfield third party suppliers and installation contractors, prepare RFQs for these, evaluate offers and select the right one for each occasion. • Prepare gross BOQs (lights, signs, accessories, circuits, CCRs…) for budgetary offers without • AGL/VDGS/Tower Design support • Provide support to other Bid Manager working in the Middle East region. The talent we want to inspire has... Engineer (Aeronautical/Airfield/Airport, Electrical or industrial) or equivalent by experience 5 - 7 years of experience in a similar role Knowledge about other Airfield technologies Expert knowledge of ADB Safegate Product & Solution portfolio, incl. (advanced) customer services is preferred. Knowledge about AGL/VDGS/Tower technologies are preferred
