Optometrist responsibilities
- Conduct eye examinations using optometric equipment and general diagnostic interpretation.
- Diagnose and treat ocular disease.
- Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids.
- Recommend appropriate patient follow-up and care options.
- Answer patient questions and provide advice about vision and optical issues.
- Deliver customer service through patient interactions.
- Direct staff and assist in developing the practice.
Mandatory requirements
- DHA eligibility is mandatory.
- BLS-AHA is mandatory.
Pay
- AED 4,000–5,000 per month.
Work location
- Work is in person.
