Responsibilities
- Prepare and check anesthesia machines, monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps and related equipment before each case.
- Assist anesthesia providers during induction, maintenance and emergence, including handling equipment, airway tools, suction and gas cylinders.
- Monitor equipment during procedures, troubleshoot minor issues and escalate as needed.
- Prepare and organize anesthetic drugs and disposables; maintain stocks, monitor expiry dates and reconcile inventory.
- Support patient positioning and transfer under supervision when needed for anesthesia setup and surgical access.
- Follow infection-control, sterilization and cleaning protocols, including decontamination of reusable items.
- Verify equipment calibration, gas supply integrity and PPE use, and follow standard operating procedures.
- Prepare tools and support providers during emergencies such as airway rescue and rapid sequence induction.
- Document equipment checks, consumables use and maintenance; support shift handovers.
- Participate in training, simulation drills and anesthesia-service workflow improvement.
Compensation
- Full-time role paying up to AED 5,000 per month.
