Responsibilities
- Prepare, check, and set up anesthesia machines, monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, and related equipment before each case.
- Assist anesthesia providers during induction, maintenance, and emergence by handling equipment, airway tools, suction, and gas cylinders.
- Monitor equipment during procedures, troubleshoot minor issues, and escalate problems as needed.
- Organize anesthetic drugs and disposables; maintain stocks, monitor expiry dates, and reconcile inventory.
- Support patient positioning and transfer under supervision when needed for anesthesia setup and surgical access.
- Follow infection-control, sterilization, cleaning, and decontamination protocols for equipment and workspace.
- Verify equipment calibration, gas supply integrity, PPE use, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Prepare tools and support anesthesia providers during emergencies, including airway rescue and rapid sequence induction.
- Document equipment checks, consumables usage, and maintenance logs; communicate during shift handovers.
- Participate in training, simulation drills, and continuous improvement of anesthesia-service workflows.
Pay
- Pay is up to AED 5,000 per month.
