Role overview
Support airport eGate operations through infrastructure engineering, Windows administration, networking, virtualization, hardware deployment, and operational troubleshooting.
The role is shift-based with on-call support for 24x7 operations.

Infrastructure implementation
- Deploy airport eGate infrastructure across multiple cities and airport locations.
- Install, configure, and commission physical servers, workstations, network equipment, and associated infrastructure.
- Travel to Saudi airports for installation and implementation as required.
Systems and network administration
- Maintain Windows Server and Client systems; configure devices, join domains, administer users and services, and perform routine maintenance.
- Troubleshoot TCP/IP, IPv4, subnetting, routing, switching, VLANs, gateways, and network connectivity.
- Configure and troubleshoot DNS records, caching, static and dynamic DNS, and name-resolution issues.
- Support DNS filtering and access-control policies; configure, monitor, and troubleshoot site-to-site and remote-access VPNs.
Virtualization and candidate assessment
- Practical knowledge of VMware ESXi and vSphere, including installation and basic administration.
- Understand Type 1 and Type 2 hypervisors and their operational use cases.
- Candidate assessment covers Windows Server and Group Policy; networking, VPN, and FortiGate fundamentals; ESXi; and physical infrastructure installation.
Work arrangement
- Airport-based work with travel to other airports within Saudi Arabia as required.

Requirements
- Practical capability in Windows Server administration and Group Policy.
- Practical capability in DNS, IP addressing, switching, routing, VPN, and FortiGate firewall fundamentals.
- Practical capability with VMware ESXi installation and basic virtualization administration.
- Practical capability installing physical servers and network infrastructure.
- Able to independently handle assigned requirements during airport working hours when phone and internet access are unavailable.
- Able to travel to airports within Saudi Arabia for installation and implementation as required.
