Job Summary
Lead the collections and account services function and drive process improvements across the order-to-cash organization.
Ensure credit and collections operate within robust financial controls, policies, procedures, governance, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of multifamily, student housing, government, commercial, hospitality, and trade accounts.
- Guide approximately 5–7 credit representatives managing more than 1,000 accounts each.
- Communicate payment policies, achieve financial objectives, and develop strategies for past-due performance.
- Secure lien rights, submit accounts for collections and bad debt write-off, and manage credit limits and Pro Card approvals.
- Maintain credit files and Cforia collection notes, produce reports, assist with reconciliations and order management.
- Communicate with Sales and Customer Service, present credit processes, and train, coach, and review employees.
Experience and Education
- 8–10 years of professional experience, including 5–7 years in O2C processes with collections experience.
- 2–4 years of team leadership experience.
- A Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Finance is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong O2C, collections, account services, leadership, team management, ERP, metrics, reporting, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Process improvement and accounts receivable best-practice experience is desired.
- Knowledge of Cforia, Bill Trust, HighRadius, Lien Track, or Levelset is a plus.
